The social roots provided for in art. 127.c) RD 1155/2024, contains in turn two basic assumptions:
– Social roots for those persons with family ties to legal residents (spouse, registered partner, ascendants or descendants in the first degree). It is important to note that siblings are not included in this list, as they would be considered second degree relatives.
– Social roots for those people without family ties in Spain, but with an integration effort report from the Autonomous Community. It is a figure similar to the previously called social integration report.
In both cases, 100% of the IPREM must be credited. In the case of family ties, the family member is required to contribute 100% of the IPREM and another 100% for the applicant (i.e., 200% of the IPREM in total). The regulation of this type of rootedness is completed with the provisions of the INSTRUCTIONS SEM 1/2025 on the AUTHORIZATIONS OF TEMPORARY RESIDENCE FOR ROOTING REASON.
